Chapter 3 -"Demand, Supply and Market Equilibrium": It all begins here, folks. You have heard it before, the answer to most economic questions can be summed up in two words, "Demand" and "Supply". There is some truth to this. In Chapter 3 you will learn about how demand and supply interact in a market to determine the price of a product and the quantity that will be produced. You'll also learn what happens when prices rise or fall, and how markets adjust to restore an "equilibrium".

Chapter 18 - "Extensions of Demand and Supply Analysis":
Time to delve a little deeper into the world of pruduct markets. Why do consumers respond drastically to price changes of some products, but hardly change their buying habits when other products become more or less expensive? Why do we feel good when we buy something for less than we're willing to pay, and how do businesses end up satisfied in a transaction where consumers also win? Questions like these and others about markets will be answered in this chapter.

Chapter 19 - "Consumer Behavior and Utility Maximization"
:
Ever gone to the grocery store with a friend, shopped around for things you want, met them at the checkout, and discovered that your friend has an entirely different selection of goods in his or her basket? Well, there's an economic explation to why certain people buy certain products given a particular budget. This chapter explores consumer behavior and gives us a deeper understanding of the law of demand.

jpoeschl PlayStation 3 Supply Surpasses Demand - Page 1 of 1 - Gameworld ... 0 Sep 24 2008, 4:10 AM EDT by jpoeschl

This article is mainly about that there is a greater demand of Playstation 3 than there are supplyes, which is a great problem. Worse for playstation is that game cube and Nitendo are getting more consumers, infact in the last couple of years fewer people, who wanted to buy a playstation, actually got it, because supply was low. Result was that demand fell as well. Sony meanwhile is concentrating on the new generation of Nitendo and Game Cube. What mad the situation even worse, was that some of the buyers sold their Playstations again on e-bai. What the consequences of this will be is not known.
